Terry Gou pointed out that the future business opportunity is the combination of intelligent manufacturing and big data. Instead of physical strength, equipment will be more used in mental work. In the past, he said, the product was developed to make a market survey and predict how much to produce, but the future big data will predict what the market needs and how much sales it will have.

Terry Gou pointed out that in the past, from predictive production and planned production to today's simulation of order production and single mode production. Smart manufacturing plus big data makes the whole supply chain reverse, from manufacturing oriented to market orientation and further towards new customer demand, which can greatly reduce the waste of social resources.

In addition, Terry Gou also pointed out that large data can bring quality consistency to manufacturing production. Combined with mass data collection of sensing elements and images, comparison, size and tolerance can be revised. The good rate can be further raised to 99.9% from 95% to 96% in the past, and 100% will be expected in the future.

In the robot part, Terry Gou points out that there are about 60 thousand Hon Hai robots at present, and many precision machining processes need the exquisite workmanship. Speaking of light factory, Terry Gou said that he went on his own tour and had to take a flashlight, the factory mainly through the machine for information exchange and processing, the factory controlled by the control room. He pointed out that at present, Hon Hai Group has 5 lights factory operation, from three dimensional detection, automatic discrimination tool life, automatic tool replacement, mainly through the monitoring and analysis of the operation of the system. In the cell phone production section, Terry Gou points out that not all of the cell phone production processes are operating at the light factory, still more than half of the operation, and the manpower needs to be done. Terry Gou said, at present, the number of big data is not enough to support the comprehensive unmanned production.

In response to the uncertainty of mobile phone production, Terry Gou pointed out that a mobile phone production involves thousands of zero components, but it is not possible to determine that these components can be delivered at the same time at the same time. He said that the computing power of the mobile phone is now equal to the ability to integrate the past one hundred desktop computers. It is a very difficult art to cooperate with zero components in the mobile phone.

The future of Hon Hai is to master from the zero component to the consumer, and the customer's order can be as flexible as Transformers.
